Now, let me explain what happend in the past weeks when I'm trying to install my osx86.

Following is the specs of my computer:

Pentium M 715 (1.5GHz, 400MHz FSB, Support SSE2)

512MB DDR333 SDRAM

Mobility Radeon 9600 pro /w 64MB

I've downloaded the ISO image, version 10.4.3 8f1111, with Wisley's patch already installed in it. And I tried to install it with VMWare(mine is v5.5) but failed, for my CPU doesn't support PAE feature.

So I downloaded Deadmoo's VM image, it is a pack from which an entire VMWare virtual machine system could be extracted. It worked well on my VMware. I partitioned my HDD and split up a 10GB primary partition(after the one with Windows XP installed) with an 'af' mark, and tried to dump deadmoo's image to my new volume using Symantec Ghost. Now when I startup from this volume, the 'four languages' screen which ask me to restart my computer appears.

My third try is to run Deadmoo's image in VMware, and install a new system on my HDD. I launched the installation program from the ISO image and it was really installed, but when I boot up, it tells me that my hardware configuration is not supported by Darwin/86.

Now what can I do? I've got only a CD-ROM, not DVD-ROM so it seems not very possible to burn the image to DVD. Which release of osx86 may really work on my computer?

Thanks a lot.

First try to burn the 10.4.3 8f1111 dvd to a dvd (using another computer or something. If you've managed that follow this guide: http://profit42.com/guides.php?id=1 (yes, PEA is not needed to install!)

If you really can't burn the DVD, use the deadmoo image as shown on http://profit42.com/guides.php?id=3
