paulNox
I'm not sure what is happening here..... My system seems to be shutting down spontaneously during installation. Usually once it reaches the part where it begins to install the BSD subsystem. I know it could be a hardware problem, when I reboot my CPU temp is usually around 100 degrees.I am running it with the fan and heatsink intel supplied, can anyone think of a reason it would over-heat so quickly and dramaticly (usually around 45mins)? Is this just way too high for a core 2 duo? My motherboard is a gigabyte GA-965p-DS3 and I am trying to install with jas 10.4.8. pvtryan
This happens to me as well, but only when I try booting with iPC (which seems like a very, very promising distro for me to finally get Leo on my pc. It doesn't happen with any of the others I've tried (iAtkos, Kalyway). If someone could give us a solution to this problem that would be great...I've been trying to get os x on this computer for almost a year now > Also, mine doesn't reboot because of overheating. My cpu and gfx card are always at a cool 40-50 fahrenheit.
