I'm not sure what is happening here..... My system seems to be shutting down spontaneously during installation. Usually once it reaches the part where it begins to install the BSD subsystem. I know it could be a hardware problem, when I reboot my CPU temp is usually around 100 degrees.I am running it with the fan and heatsink intel supplied, can anyone think of a reason it would over-heat so quickly and dramaticly (usually around 45mins)? Is this just way too high for a core 2 duo? My motherboard is a gigabyte GA-965p-DS3 and I am trying to install with jas 10.4.8.

This happens to me as well, but only when I try booting with iPC (which seems like a very, very promising distro for me to finally get Leo on my pc. It doesn't happen with any of the others I've tried (iAtkos, Kalyway). If someone could give us a solution to this problem that would be great...I've been trying to get os x on this computer for almost a year now >;)

Also, mine doesn't reboot because of overheating. My cpu and gfx card are always at a cool 40-50 fahrenheit.
