Johndoe60914
ok then... what should I do? I got same problem with my PC (AMD Sempron 3000+,nForce 405,nVidia 6100) I dissabled everything in bios 'cept the essentials and it still happens. I've come to the conclusion that something in my PC isnt supported by 10.4.8 DVD's so im still looking for a different installer that is compatible (long and trying as it is) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/65146-amd-panic/#findComment-494382 Share on other sites
mathew_R
I had the same problem on my amd 3000 64, k8n. The solution was very simple for me. The whole problem was the bios. You have to go to the powermanagement in your bios, en set the version of acpi to 2. I will soon post a picture of my bios in this reply (i am at work now ;-) ). After this i reinstall osx again on a blanked partition and it works without any errors!!!
