birkof_os Posted October 1, 2007 Share Posted October 1, 2007 Hello I have imac and in last time i buy a macbook laptop widout soft. My question is how can i install mac os x from imac on macbook. I know that i must change some files on install dvd, but i dont know what files are does. For now its "This software cannot be installed on your machine". Does somebody know good article for this? ~pcwiz Posted October 1, 2007 Share Posted October 1, 2007 You can't take the OEM DVDs from an iMac and put them on a MacBook without the big hassle of modifying files on the DVD and there is no guide I can find for it. Its just easier to get a full retail copy of Tiger Intel edition or wait till Leopard comes out and install that. Sory for mistake. Cean i install from that disc somehow?
