:unsure:Hi,

I successfully installed uphuck 1.4a on my amd System (MB M2A VM HDMI).

- AMD 690G Chipset

- Integrated ATI Radeon X1250-based graphics

After reboot I hear the sound of the intro video. But the monitor turns black. I tried every Videooutput of the MB.

During install I choosed the drivers for the X1x00, X1x00 (AGP) and the Camino (or so) drivers.

So what now?? :D

thanks, that worked. Now I am ready for tuning my machine to get frontrow working.

Damn!

I just installed the X1300 drivers. And again, only thing I see is a black screen. How can I remove those drivers? And what kind of Graphicscard works fine with Uphuck?

For FrontRow, see this post:

There is a link to a package download for FrontRow. Works flawlessly on nearly any computer. Which X1300 drivers did you install? Natit? Its still gonna be hard to remove. I recommend you reinstall ;)

Any OSx86 compatible graphics card will work with OS X. Here are some cheap cards I recommend if you want hassle free installation and full support:

ASUS EN7600GS (best, only 79 dollars)

GeForce 7300GS or 7600GS card

nVidia FX5200

Also, only get the 256MB versions of the cards. The 512MB versions need ROM flashing.

thanks a lot!

the graphicscard is on its way.

But there is another problem.

The System Disk is connected via IDE and works fine. But the Data Disks (3x 500 GB Samsung) are connected via onboard SATA - Controller and do not appear in disk utility. Is there a way to activate the onboard sata controller?

PS: Right now I am typing from my osx86-machine!

Which graphics card did you order?

For SATA, you have to install the SATA Support driver from your Uphuck disc. Reboot into the installer DVD (DON'T FORMAT) and continue as normal until you get to the installation options screen. Here uncheck everything. Now go into Drivers >> System and just check the SATA Support driver. Click Install and reboot into OS X and SATA should work!

I ordered the Gainward GF8600GT SilentFX. If it does not work, I can use this card for another project.SATA: I will try this right now. Hopefully will back in a few minutes. :Dthe good news: I am back.the bad news: no trace of my other three 500GB Harddisks.the good: I am backthe bad: no trace of my three 500GB harddisks
