Two problems: Updating to 10.4.10 and P5W Dh Deluxe Wireless

Hi there,

My 10.4.9 OSX is working almost perfect (I've got a HD2900XT so it doesn't work and the wireless connection is 90% of the time down), but I need to install the 10.4.10 and the iMac update to start testing a few things concerning my graphic card.

Of course I tried to install those updates by clicking on "System update" several times but everytime I do it and reboot, it just hangs and reboots again, and again, and again... So I have to format and install 10.4.9 again.

Now, is there any way to install those updates without having problems?

By the way... Do you know why the wireless connection just keeps falling when other three different wireless devices I have (including my ps3) have no problem connecting and keeping that connection on? I'm using the realtek usb wireless that comes with the Asus P5W DH Deluxe mobo. I can install the universal Realtek driver and it connects using my WPA key. After a few seconds it hangs but keeps telling me it's connected. After that I have to turn off the radio and then turn it on again, but that just gives me a few more seconds (also breaking any other connection I had before). What can I do? By the way... That's the same wireless device I use under Windows and it works just perfect.
