Hey, i have a dell right now, and everthing works fine, i've got sound and everyhting, but i still have to boot with the cd in the drive by going to the cd and typing the command "rd=disk0s1", so i was wondering how to fix this without having to install windows... i can't figure out how to put my OSX selector on mbr without windows... so... anyhelp would be appreciated. Do you have Windows installed right now or do you just want to run OS X without any other OSes?

If you only want to have OS X on there, boot your installer DVD, go to Utilities menu >> Terminal. Type in:

fdisk -u /disk0s1

That will install a bootloader onto your HD so OS X automatically loads!
