rosegirt
Hey, i have a dell right now, and everthing works fine, i've got sound and everyhting, but i still have to boot with the cd in the drive by going to the cd and typing the command "rd=disk0s1", so i was wondering how to fix this without having to install windows... i can't figure out how to put my OSX selector on mbr without windows... so... anyhelp would be appreciated. ~pcwiz
Do you have Windows installed right now or do you just want to run OS X without any other OSes? If you only want to have OS X on there, boot your installer DVD, go to Utilities menu >> Terminal. Type in: fdisk -u /disk0s1 That will install a bootloader onto your HD so OS X automatically loads!
