FastMac
sigh, I cannot set the admin account on the server, and also I cannot return to mac tiger like u, any ideas ppl? If your servers are on PC's you will have to erase the HD/Partition and go through the x86 install again. If you have Server on Mac's Do either of you have an external FW HD with a bootable version of Mac OS X on? If no, I guess you will have to boot from the install CD\DVD and use Disk Utility to erase the Server HD then install your Tiger. FastMac
Yes you need to boot from ther DVD that you installed Tiger x86 with and use disk utility from that to erase the server. Mac OSX Coder
Is this on a laptop or desktop? Not a stupid question, it depends guys. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/6479-how-to-uninstall-osx-server/#findComment-58504 Share on other sites
R. Bear Helms
I have never seen a server's desktop. OS X otherwise has a System Preferences panel on the Apple menu that at the bottom lets you select a startup volume. Usually, you select the volume with the OS you'd prefer to boot into, press restart, and ultimately you get into it. From there you use Disk Utility to remove or reformat the partition in question.
