blackhavoc
Ok enjoying my fresh install of the Tubgirl 10.4.10 AMD SSE3 on my Athlon x2 5000+ overclocked to 2.74, 2 gigs of ram, with 128 shared vram with the onboard via deltachrome 9 IGP (sadly no out of box CI/QE gotta get my mac and linux buddy to tinker with that) on my ECS k8m890M V1.0a. Everything worked out of box, sound, ethernet, USB. I'm runing off IDE but my windows sata drive would have worked! Now I'm stuck at 1024x768, and my 19wxga looks gross with anything but 1440x900. I haven't found anything with the crummy search feature this forum has. TIA. Jim P.S. Typed this on the hackintosh! hehe Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/64789-need-some-resolution-help/ Share on other sites
BJMoose
You can try editing your com.apple.Boot.plist and adding the lines: <key>Graphics Mode</key> <string>1440x900x32</string> If that doesn't work, you can play around with different resolutions. Not all systems without qe/ci will support widescreen though. Good luck. blackhavoc
Awesome thanks it worked! Now I need to try and get QE/CI running. This deltachrome 9 is supposed to be better than the intel 950's that run qe/ci Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/64789-need-some-resolution-help/#findComment-459295 Share on other sites
~pcwiz
There is no QE/CI support for the DeltaChrome onboard video. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/64789-need-some-resolution-help/#findComment-459405 Share on other sites
