Hi. I have cut the 15-pin connector TAC005A Foxconn brand (connected to the logicboard) of the iMac Indigo (slot-loading 2000) to make a homemade 15-pin to VGA adapter. I won't be able to get it back to its original. I do want to bring it back to its original but I won't be working on that coz I did acquire another 15-connector for the iMac iMac G3/400 DV (Slot Loading - Fruit, 1999) with this written on it: TAC005A Unixtar brand. Can I use the Unixtar to replace the Foxconn (are they compatible at all)?

The DV had this problem: when you power it without any chime or noise, it imeediately turns off. That has been fixed now problem of the DV after I've replaced it with the iMac Indigo (350 G3) PAV board is that it now chimes, with the noises, LED in green light (stay on) then after I think it shuts down itself (with a ding) but the green light is still on. Could it be that the 15-pin connector isn't compatible?

Thanks.
