My problem was I had my Hard Disk set to one of my partitions on my computer.

I was wondering, after I install the OS (which it's doing) is there any way I can move the system files over to my SATA drive (i have the dreaded nforce4 chipset that wont let you use SATA) and boot OS X natively that way?

Hmm...maybe you could. I don't know a method right now but if you could somehow write the contents of the virtual hard disk (VMDK) file to a volume....

Another thing about installing to SATA with an nForce4 chipset. I have come up with a possible (un tested) solution:

On your SATA HD, make a new partition for OS X, install OS X to the partition THROUGH VMware and then boot it natively. Anyone willing to try it?
