2planker
i got osx86 working on my dell inspiron 1300 the other day but it was verison 10.4.1 so nothing really worked and then i broke it and it wouldn't boot at all, but my mate is getting a new macbook tomorrow so does that mean that i can borrow the install/restore disc of 10.4.10 and use it with VMware workstation 6? and would this also mean that more things (broadcomm 44xx and intel pro wireless 2200BG) be more compatible with this version? Rufus T. Firefly
No, you'd {censored} up your system. osx86 releases are made for PC hardware. OS X is made for Mac Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/64657-i-take-it-you-can-use-a-real-versoin-of-10410/#findComment-457912 Share on other sites

BJMoose
The Green Demon has been knocked out of the game for a bit, but you can find a very good 10.4.10 disk in other places like on Usenet or Mininov_. 2planker
I just started up 10.4.8 JaS As it seems that anything higher than 10.4.9 needs SEE3 which my laptop doesn't have Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/64657-i-take-it-you-can-use-a-real-versoin-of-10410/#findComment-457935 Share on other sites
BJMoose
All my systems are SSE3 compatible so I can't speak from personal experience, but there are SSE2 patches out there for 10.4.10 that some in this forum have reported success with.
