EricLX
All right, first of all I'm a bit new here. I'm Eric, and I know nylock10. He's a great guy and I can't thank him enough for (trying) to get OSx86 to try to work on my crappy Windows box. So anyway, we've been (kind of) making a bit of progress, but the problem is that we can't get past the solid blue screen with the pointer. It gets past the Apple logo and the throbber after 15 or 20 minutes, and then it stays on the solid blue screen and pointer. From there there isn't any disk activity, or anything changing for that matter. My first thought is that the packages being installed would be a cause, but the thing is that I'm all too confused as to what packages to choose. So here are my specs of my computer (all baseline config): eMachines T2862 Processor: Intel Celeron D 2.66 GHz (single core) Chipset: Intel 845GV Installed RAM: 768MB 1x256 DDR2700, 1x512 DDR2700 Hard Drive Space: 60GB, partitioned with 44GB for Windows XP install, 16GB for OSx86 install HD Controller type: Ultra ATA Graphics: Intel Extreme Graphics, 64MB Integrated Sound Card: Realtek AC'97 Audio Networking: Intel PRO VE 10/100 I'm using the uPhuck 1.3 DVD, and I'm kind of concerned of what packages to install. Any ideas? Thanks in advancee.
