jh1523
Are you sure it's a nforce4? I have installed the tubgirl release on a sata drive/nforce4 with no problem. You may have a nforce 410/430 chipset though, which isn't supported and is NOT nforce4. cbmkgd
The current 'tubgirl' 10.4.10 Test1 doesn't have a driver that supports proper writing to sata drives for nforce410/430; the medevil driver/kext was specifically designed to solve the problem for nforce4. For nforce410/430, go read about recent developments in this thread: Darwin nForce4 ATA/SATA controller. Begin near the last 2 weeks or so; some people are working on solving the problem for nf410/430. Until then, you could install osx on a pata drive if you have a desktop.
