Is it just me or is "Rosetta mode" for the system preferences removed in 10.4.3?

It's a big bummer, because you can't run many apps which use the system preferences to load their preferences panel. If anyone has any clue for a workaround i'd be anxious to hear about it!

you can extract an older Rosetta enabled System Preferences from an iso that has it, using Pacifist. http://www.charlessoft.com/

don't let Pacifist install it, or overwrite your current app. drag it to your desktop or another folder beside the Applications folder. then you can rename it or whatever.

mmh... gotta check that on Growl's prefpane, it's the only prefpane that does not work for me. i never tried to set it to rosetta mode... i guess it's in the info panel, like for apps. i'll let you know if it works.

You may try my new Growl 0.7.3 DMG release. It is completely compiled for Intel.
