standardowl
I've been looking into installing OSX on my computer for a long time now. But the problem is, I don't really know much about OSX, because I've always used windows. More recently, I've been trying to install OSX on my computer. I've tried a few times; first I tried on my PATA HD, and it worked except for the video drivers. I tried to install, and got a kernel panic. So, I held off for a while, until I got a new 500 gb SATA hard drive. I then found out that I couldn't install onto a SATA drive because the OSX installer wouldn't recognize my nforce4 SATA controller. Now, I've read that there are ways to work around that. So, what do I need to do to install OSX? I've got the uphuck 10.4.9 release. Here's my system specs: AMD 64 3500+ nforce4 mobo geforce 7800gt seagate 500gb SATA HD (this is what I want to install OSX on) what do I need to get, and what do I need to do?
