jackt283
So I was finally able to download the torrent and give osx86 a go on a friends computer. I followed the tutorial and booted into osx only to get to the grey apple and then a kernal panic "you must restart your computer....." His computer was an Athlon XP 2800+, with an ASUS motherboard. No go with this processor.... I'm guessing. Is it possible? If so, which road do I go down? You need a P4 or Athlon64 with SSE2 & SSE3 for this (or any other CPU with min. SSE2). You can boot OSX as virtual PC but it will be much slower than a native installation. in PearPC (the PPC version): http://pearpc.sourceforge.net/ in QEMU (the x86 version): http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?showtopic=5055 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/6440-a-first-go/#findComment-39972 Share on other sites
