oSxFr33k Posted September 23, 2007 Share Posted September 23, 2007 Everything looks fine except My DVD writer and DVD player are not seen in 10.4.9 install? The ATA controller is seen fine and my maxtor Hard drive is seen fine. So why is the secodnary controller not working? Firewire card and built in USB working. Graphics look fine. What kext do I need to get the DVD burner to be seen so I can mount it? What is missing in 10.4.9 version over 10.4.8 jas? I heard the printer drivers for one. ANything else missing? What applications are missing? Do you get more usefull application sin the FUll version 10.4.8 Jas ? If so I will format and reinstall 10.4.8 jas and upgrade to 10.4.9 Uphucks or 10.4.10. Where d I get these updates and is there a tutorial on how to install them? For example if I grab them from my PC where XP is installed , then put the updated on a flash drive, where do I copy them into hackintosh and how will it handle the update zip files?
