Search around TPB and the green demon and I think you can find something how reliable is this: 10.4.10 Mac OS X update for hackintosh posted by Mekkmester in TPB? coz i was able to install it and got my hackintosh os x 10.4.6 updated to 10.4.10 but there were some errors & has made the system unstable like my network connection has been screwed. when it comes to getting resources from green demon, will u kindly send me an invite pcwiz so that i can register? tnx in advance. another thing, currently with osx86 10.4.6, i can't extract my iWork'08.zip file. pls. advise. Juxta Posted September 23, 2007 Author Share Posted September 23, 2007 how did you go from 10.4.6 to 10.4.10? i tried running the same delta for hackintosh but it failed with errors. it doesn't boot. from what i understand that update is for 10.4.8/9 to 10.4.10. ?? anyone know where i can get JAS 10.4.8 AMD SSE3 Updater torrent file or how i can get a demonoid invite? For your system MACinized, use the koolkal 10.4.0 intel combo sse2 & sse3 V2 updater. Danyel Posted August 21, 2008 Share Posted August 21, 2008 Hi Juxta: It was a long time coming, but I was *finally* able to update my OSx86 System to 10.4.10 using Mac dot Nub's DVD-ROM. Here's what I did: 1) Boot up off Mac not Nub 10.4.10 Install DVD. 2) Install 10.4.10 on new Hard Drive or Partition. 3) During the Install process, use Apple's Migration Assistant to migrate your Users Folder, Files and Applications. 4) After Migration Assistant finishes, make sure you can boot into Mac OS X! I had to do some patches like Diablotek's GMA and copied over some Extensions from 10.4.6. Other than that, everything works great.
