tyscmi
When i try and install OSx86, it boots up, but will not find any drives to install it on. I have a Toshiba laptop and it is a 80 GB hard drive. I have tried formating it to different OS but it will still not find it. Any tips?? keisi03
Please let me know what system you are using, I am trying to get a ThinkPad R60 to work and am having the same problem. I used the Maklar-Tiger.dmg and patched it with a generic patch what version are you trying to use. Right now I am trying to use an external disk I will let you know if I have any success. ~pcwiz
First of all, use modern ISOs like JaS or Uphuck. Marklar or whatever isn't a good choice. Second, for OS X to recognize a drive/partition in Disk Utility, the drive/partition must be formatted as FAT32 before. keisi03
I know that the Maklar release is very outdated but it is all that I have, is it somehow possible to just add the Jas patches to it. I do not have a fast internet connection so downloading another several gigabytes of torrents is not an option. As for the drive not being recognised I have succesfully installed 10.4.1 on my computer using a USB flash drive. I tried to use a external hard disk but it would not boot from that so I tried the flash and it was succesful. Now I am going to try and copy that over to my hdd with partition magic to see if I can get it to load directly off of the HDD.
