After being *away* form the Hackintosh testing scene (mostly due to Real Life Issues), I dug up a spare partition on a small PATA HDD (30 GB) and hung the latest OS X modified DVD (10.4.10) on it. After several nasty fits and starts (which turned out to be related to the ATI drivers inducing kernel panics), I have it up and running (with networking support, no less). Despite the lack of a graphics kext (ATI Radeon X1650PRO AGP), the graphics are *fast*. In fact, so is everything else. Now for the $0.64 question: finding a proper driver kext that will cooperate as far as the graphics are concerned with 10.4.10.

The Hackintosh Manifest:

ASUS P4C800-E Deluxe

Intel P4 2.6C overcranked to 2.85 GHz

1.5 GB DDR266 SDRAM

ATI Radeon X1650PRO AGP

SoundMax integrated audio (OS X)

Creative SoundBlaster Audigy 2 ZS (Vista)

Successful methods (specific to 10.4.10) only, please.
