Hey guys, I tried to install Mac OSX 10.4.9 AND 10.4.8 on my pc. But it wont boot up. Once I try and boot up I get this:

MacOSX_kernel_panic.png

and when I tried to install the JAS 10.4.8 the other week, the problem was the same. But it messed up the entire boot process, leaving me no choice other than to reinstall Windows XP.

Here are my specs:

Custom PC (bought on eBay)

msi PT890 Neo

2x 3.2Ghz Pentium D processors

2gb ram

nVidia 8400 GS

Windows XP

Realtek AC97 Audio

I really need your help guys! I love Macs! Just dont have enough money to buy one yet.

What could be wrong? And how could I fix it?

Many Thanks!

Probably is an issue with the fact that you have a core duo and the /System/Library/Extensions/AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext

not supporting the CPU. What happens when you temporarily remove the .kext ? My bet it your system will then run, but perhaps with only 1 core activated. Try it out.

Or try using another one from the JaS install or from a similar 10.4.x distro.
