I'm trying to use the monitor energy saver. When it says 'inactivity', is that talking about just mouse / kb input inactivity? I would assume so, otherwise that's useless. But anywho, all that happens when I try this is the cursor disappears. Monitor doesn't turn off.

Guessing due to graphic card / monitor drivers not being installed? Correct?

Or is it working for anybody?

When I have Energy Saver enable on my windows box, that's essentially what happens. I haven't tried It myself though, but I'd assume it doesn't work because OSX isn't properly supporting your monitor. I believe that on real Mac's, going into this Energy Saving mode hides the mouse, and fades the screen to an almost black. It would seem that it's trying to do the same thing on your monitor, but just can't for whatever reason. Take this with a grain of salt though....just me speculating.
