DreadSukei
I won't sugarcoat it, I am new to the Osx86 Scene. I am running a Sony Vaio VGC-RB43, Pentium 4 3.0 GHz Processor, 1.5 Gigs of RAM, running 10.4.10. Now...feel free to flame me for this, but I have searched and not found a single thread for this question...Is it possible to install BootCamp on a Hackintosh? Hakemon
No, because all BootCamp is on a real IntelMac, is a driver suite for the real intel Mac hardware. (and im not sure if it install the EFI BIOS module, or if that was included in a previous EFI update.) Bootcamp would also take care of partitioning I believe. Your computer can run windows, so Bootcamp is moot.
DreadSukei
Thank you. <.< Finally a straight answer....even though it may crush my hopes and dreams temporarily, at least it's foreward, and not sugarcoating it....

Well, what is your Hope? Bootcamp doesn't virtualize like VMWare, it allows a real Intel Mac to literally boot up like a PC, that's all.. Nothing special about it. skyhighmac
Boot Camp works great on a real mac, but a hackintosh can already run windows.
