mrjoe
Anyone got this working in VMware? When I install it after the install it asks you to reboot as usual and then it reboots and starts looping endlessly, it gets from the VMware boot screen to the OSX boot screen and then loops back again. I'm not sure whether it physically reboots but I think so... Anyone know how to fix this? ~pcwiz
Kalyway 10.4.10 does not work in VMware. Any kernel above 8.9.1 will not work in VMware. I tried and I get the same problem as you. And yes, it does physically reboot. The new kernel causes a CPU reset.Kalyway 10.4.10 does not work in VMware. Any kernel above 8.9.1 will not work in VMware. kamilyon
Hello, It will install in VMware for me. I am running it on an intel e1200 cpu. Recognized as intel core 2. The VM is set with only one cpu. One option to get back to the desktop is to boot from the dvd again with the options: -s rd=disk0s1 Assuming your install in on the first disk in partition 1. You will get the prompt asking you to fsck and the to remount. If you know your disks already check out good then just remount it as specified. you can then type "exit" without the quotes and it will start along its way. I have to figure out how to make this permanent and without dvd. I also have not been able to use the Maxxuss network kext. Good day.
