marine63 Posted September 17, 2007 Share Posted September 17, 2007 http://######.com/software/vmwareosx86.htm I used this guide i used vmware workstation 6 i used this torrent http://torrentz.com/e87d0ef919c3257899c7b549c39e5fe5eeed1023 used daemon tools computer specs: cooler centurion 5 A-power 680w psu asus p5k SE foxconn nvidia 8800gts x2gen mw19r core 2 duo e6750 2.66 1333fsb BABY 2 g.skill dual channel 800 ram seagate 320GB SATA + 100GB maxtor IDE hmmm thats it i think theres one more important thing *when it says other/other pick other/other 64 BIT !!!!!! comment: 1.a bit slow at lauching programs and such but clicking thru menus mouse cursor movement is okay @ 512mb of ram 2. i tried on my old computer the new everything makes all the difference 3. internet doesnt work yet 4. sound im not sure but i heard during the setting up of mac os x it made a final fantasy music kinda thing... 5. im happy that the right click works in this :3 6. need to get usb flash drive working... a few questions 1. vmware fusion lets u run windows apps on mac os x? could u install that and install drivers for your harddrives?? 2. possible to install mac os x on physical disk and use acornis os selector.. ?? i saw a guide and tried it ... its hope the 2nd time around will work ... but later much later 3. way to put files in to vmware from windows or from usb? ... note to self... use speed and find speed tips... get internet working... get sound working... vmware fusion... make clone of harddrive... keep one and experiment on other... like updates and such.. install physically... etc... okay... Yes, you could use VMware Fusion to run a Windows XP virtual machine inside OS X. Drivers for your hard drives are not required. 2. Yes, you can use VMware to install OS X directly onto a real partition that can be booted natively. You can use Acronis OS Selector and there are some methods where you can use a XP/Vista bootloader to load OS X 3. The easiest way to transfer files to a OS X virtual machine from Windows or USB HD is to copy the files to your hard drive, put them into a new ISO image and create the ISO image, then mount the ISO image as a CD-ROM device in VMware.
