nintendo_skyline
it could be your dvd. Try to burn it at lowest speed possible, no scratches dirt etc. In my case, my old pioneer dvd-rom wasn't able to read what I burned. So I made my dvd burner my master and it read. haha.. but I can't get into mac os x, I get the mac's grey screen of death...a lot more soothing and calm then windows death screen Found this at http://osx86help.we.bs/index.html 5. Fix for the "still waiting for boot device" error This error is because your boot device controller is not detected, preventing your HD or DVD reader from working. The simplest way is to install through vmware on a physical drive VMware installation will allow you to boot your OSX install inside the VM and then add the required driver that will allow to boot natively. To know which driver your setup requires, you need to know the EXACT model of IDE or SATA controller to which your boot device is connected. Google it searching for some infos about your motherboard or computer model, the HD controller is usually built in the chipset (intel ICH, nVidia nForce, SIS) or built-in the motherboard (Jmicron) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/63482-need-help-with-install/#findComment-449302 Share on other sites
