~pcwiz Posted September 16, 2007 Share Posted September 16, 2007 If you tried to update using Software Update, then yes, you would have to reinstall OS X. What are your specs? I need them so I can recommend an update package to you. EDIT: Whoops. Your specs are above. Use the: koolkal 10.4.10 intel combo sse2 & sse3 V2 updater It will update your computer to 10.4.10. At the installation options screen, uncheck the 8.10.1 kernel and check the 8.9.1 kernel. This step is crucial. You'll screw up your computer if you don't do that.
