<_<:( i got an optiplex gx270 see2 p4 with intel graph extreme 2 ... i used uphuck10.4.9 and everything was working great ( i know ... no qe, or ci) so i upgraded my graphics to a geforce nvidia fx 5200 agp 128mb and used the geforce 5200 osx86 drivers and ,from what i understood it was supposed to work just from installing the drivers but, now i got the "no smoking / ban " type symbol at the grey screen ... even if i try to reboot and install the nvidia drivers that are on the 10.4.9 uphuck disk( fresh install ) the disk utility does not recognize my hard drive .... it just recognizes the uphuck dvd??? any help would be great thanks

Really strange... everything should work just by reinstalling and selecting proper video driver during the install process... that symbol means that the eide / sata controller kext is missing... try to reinstall the right IOATAFamily.kext, with all the ICH family chipsets in it...
