Hey guys (and chicks)

I've been looking around a while for a tool that adds support for copying files with resume support.. Ex. TotalCopy for the PC.

When you're copying 100 GiB's it's a bummer when something goes wrong and you have to start all over again..

And.. Is there a way to make the folders appear on top? For example change the "kind" name of a folder to be 00AA_Folder or something to make it show on top.. As in Windows Explorer..

Hope to solve this!

I was unable to find a finder extension/replacement but you can use the almighty terminal to resume interrupted file copying: http://ask.metafilter.com/66991/Is-there-a...opy-in-Mac-OS-X

Again, there is no way that I am aware of but you could try fiddling with metadata. Look here: http://theappleblog.com/2006/01/08/has-spo...-filing-habits/

I also recommend this website for lots of OSX (and other OS) goodies: http://www.lifehacker.com/

Good luck, and don't forget to post your findings!
