conjure1
Hi, I have a 10.4.6 (Jas) updated to 10.4.9 Working very smoothly except for the graphics card, GeForce FX 5200 which wasn't recognized. I downloaded the installer from Diabolik's website for 10.4.9 and repaired permissions after install, but when I rebooted I passed the grey apple, but then got a blue screen with no mouse pointer on. Diabolik says that the PCImatch string should be edited but that his installation get the IDs right, but I see in mine that it doesnt/ It shows: 0x000010de while mine is 0322 How can I fix this? Can I edit the GeForce & Nvdan & Nvdar kexts from windows? Thanx Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/62912-blue-screen-after-installing-diaboliks-nvidia-installer/ Share on other sites
conjure1
OK I got everything back to normal by deleting the offending kexts and rebooting. I tried to use another installer from here: GeForce Installer but it caused the same problem as well, but this time the mouse pointer is visible and I can move my mouse. I know I can revert back to my working mac but I want QE / CI support and be able to change resolutions Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/62912-blue-screen-after-installing-diaboliks-nvidia-installer/#findComment-445805 Share on other sites
