lftjeep Posted September 9, 2007 Share Posted September 9, 2007 I have tried installing Jas 10.4.8 three times and it keeps stops at the apple logo but music is playing and it sounds like some kind of video is going. The spining thing at the bottom of the logo stops spinning as well but you can still hear the sound. I have a toshiba m35x-s149 laptop with a intel pentium M 1.5 GHZ and 512 mb of ram. I am new to the OSx on pc thing so please bare with me. chevy2410 Posted September 9, 2007 Share Posted September 9, 2007 When darwin bootloader starts loading press the F8 key and type -v, then press enter. You will see a bunch of stuff scroll up the screen and the stop. There is an error when you are booting and we need to know what that error is. Either copy down some that info or take a picture and post it so we can see what's up. Also some pc specs would be nice.
