PowerAMD
Hey guys i try to install mac osx of tubgirl everything went good but assy slow. on a AMD x2 my problem is when i install it i have to chose a destination to install mac osx but that part is blank no discs in it so ppl say u have to format the disc into fat32 and reformat it in disc utilirys to MAC OSX Extened (Journaled) so when i do that it gives ERRORs or a timeout error or it gives underlying errors. the disc = SATA II 320gb. is it needed to install a IDE hdd back ? or is there an other option or fix? hecker
I don't use SATA myself yet, but I have read that a lot of users have problems with it. Maybe you could install your OSX on a cheap IDE drive and later clone your system over to your ATA drive once you get it working properly. Debugging would be much easier that way, IMO. Sapam
SATA is not supported on native install of OSX86. If you can't get IDE drives then try installing it using VMWare method form windows. Once installed you will be able to boot into OSX Tubgirl natively without VMWare. nForce SATA controller is supported by TubGirl 10.4.10 after installation.
