Stander
Hi, recently I changed CPU in my configuration (you can see it in my signature). Now I have Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4GHz Problem is that CPU measurement in XBench 1.3 is giving me only 93. I saw guys here with same CPU having 140+ CPU scores. Other problem (could be just cosmetic) is that in "About this mac" window shows core 2 duo 4 GHz cpu. I'm running jas 10.4.9 system. I also have native win XP on the same machine (other hdd), and CPU works and detects correctly there. Same in BIOS. Ideas ? Thanks! delish
xbench is terribly outdated, try geekbench or cinebench r10 instead. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/62366-core-2-duo-e6600-slow/#findComment-441752 Share on other sites
Stander
I have geekbench score around 2500, which I'm not too happy about either. Considering my configuration. Stander
Updating to 10.4.10 helped... Now xbench and geekbench scores look ok for E6600.
