alfdog Posted September 4, 2007 Share Posted September 4, 2007 I was reading a thread on the ubuntu forums about how a guy disabled his webcam because it got really hot, and just used more battery http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=502064 Is there a way to disable/turn off a built-in usb device such as a webcam in os x? I've searched google and this site up and down and I can't seem to get anywhere. I know a lot of people on this site have more insight on the inner workings on os x. Anyone have any ideas?
