SquithyX
Ok, so i have looked and looked on the site and there seems to be many places where ppl are tlaking about what sound cards dont work fully, or need a lot of kext editing or messing about with to get them working. So i have decided to set this topic up here listing all the sound cards that will work from the box!! My onboard sound chip is unsupported by OSX so i went out and got a: CREATIVE X-Fi USB sound card from PCWorld for £19.99, plugged it in and started enjoying sound output AND input fully supported by the OS!! They work very well in bout OSX and Winblows, and they will look right at home on a "mac" desktop with there white shiny ipod'ish shape and looks. Hope others will find this useful and add there good sound cards to the list! karmatose
If you have firewire, the Griffin FireWave is a nice box. Works perfectly with no kexts to add.
