migo Posted September 2, 2007 Share Posted September 2, 2007 im still trying to fix pro-tools problem, i've installed AppleSMBios.kext patch, tried both versions 7.1 and 7.3.1 ... on Uphuck 10.4.9 v1.4i r3... it loads the project, and i can work for a bit, but always during playback, no matter what the playback buffer settings are, it crashes and exits appl. But it looks like it could be having problems to communicate (via firewire) with the soundcard (digi 002 rack)... any pro-tools users that could give me a tip? Should i install 10.4.10 update? My Specs: Asus motherboard, Intel 2.4 Ghz 2GB Ram 250 Gb Hitachi HD Gfx: Nvidia NX7300GT-TD Pro-tools DIGI002 Rack. Any help very much appreciated. neikous Posted September 2, 2007 Share Posted September 2, 2007 I have a Digi003 rack and was running protools 7.3 on it. I wasn't having any of these issues. voxxdigital Posted September 3, 2007 Share Posted September 3, 2007 PT LE 7.3 working solid as a rock here with Mbox 2. Worked fine with JaS 10.4.8, Jas 10.4.9 and now Koolkal 10.4.10. Uphuck never worked for me. I never could complete a single install here, no matter which kernel I was trying.
