C.J.
Have an of you heard anything regarding the actual release of Leopard.. I mean for those of us using the leopard beta as our OS already, do you know if we will able to update to the final version of Leopard when its released either via Software Update or similar method via disc in order to preserve our settings and software? macuser74
I think it has to be a clean install
Adrian Fogge
In the past, it has been "Archive + Install" or "Format + Install". Sorry. It can be possible to "Upgrade" if you use something like a revisioner to change the build number to something that the installer expects... This COULD make it possible to do an "Upgrade", but note that it is HIGHLY UNTESTED and more than likely will severely f!@# up your system. Remember, clean installs are tested more than ANY other installation method.
HackerName
Truth is no one knows. In the past (Tiger, Panther) - although Apple has said it won't work - it still did. Always do an Archive and Install though. Best advice.
