taylor Posted August 31, 2007 Share Posted August 31, 2007 hey ive downloaded JaS.10.4.8.AMD.Intel.SSE2.SSE3.iso ive burnt it to a DVD changed my bios to boot to CD ive created a 10gb partition - fat32 primary when i restart my computer i get loading cd or whatever it say and shorty after "there is no bootable cd in atachi cd-rom drive" something similar along those lines and it continues to boot from the hardrive ive heard that i need to disable cpu extensions in the bios in order to boot an os x dvd.. i tried to find how to do this but didnt get anything my components are: Intel Celeron M 1.50 Ghz 512 RAM Phillips CDRW/DVD drive im not really sure what im missing or... if it will even work any help is appreciated thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/62004-help-me-please-jas-1048-installation/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
Nadav_Peretz Posted August 31, 2007 Share Posted August 31, 2007 Maybe the DVD disk is damaged? Try to boot the CD on another computer, or just burn another DVD and try to boot again.
