farcaller
Hello all, I have an Asus F3T Notebook: AMD Turion64 X2 TL-52 Nforce4 based m/b (MCP51 that is) SATA HDD I have two questions. First of all, both AMD site and cpu-z utility state that my Turion CPU is capable of SSE3. However neither Linux (/proc/cpuinfo) nor MacOS (a message while booting with -v) show any presence of SSE3 (just SSE and SSE2). Any hints about what kind of patch for macosx86 I should use in this case? Another one about mcp51. I've googled about it and it seems there's only PATA support, so no way for me to run MacOS on physical HW. Still I want to try it out in VMWare, but two successful boots finished with SIGSEGV's for lots of init apps (in fact only a few basic *NIX apps work), sounds like a wrong patch again. Can someone help me with a hint about what image I have to use on such HW andmaybe some keywords for TPB search?
