Memph
Hi, I've got a strange problem: all the 3 usb HUBs in my HP nx9010 laptop are recognized, however if I connect any USB device, nothing happens. Memph
Boy, that's quite some detailed report. I sure hope someone can help you with it.Haven't encountered such a problem myself (fortunately, since both my mouse & keyboard are usb... ), but I read about usb trouble all over the forums... Look, if I don't supply the info I've got, no one can help me. Actually I hope that someone can help, but have a little faith since I could not find any references to VIA USB chipsets in this forum and it's also quite strange that USB HUBs are detected (and they don't make tiger crash either) but devices aren't Regards, Memph Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/6187-8f1111-kernel-via-usb-hub-recognized-usb-devices-not/#findComment-38764 Share on other sites

basdala
I don't know if this helps, but personally I can only use my USB hard disk drives when plugged on my Apple USB Keyboard (I have one for my PC and it works fine under any OS). When I plug them into the PC USB or the flash card reader nothing happens. dmesg didn't tell me nothing, also. Maybe some kext missing in 10.4.3... Edit: I forgot to tell you: in 10.4.1 I could connect them to the card reader and the frontal usb connectors.
