Ender Wiggin
Hello everybody, I'm the happy owner of a fully working Radeon HD 2600 Pro thanks to the work of Netkas. I'm tinkering with the Info.plist of Natit, in order to make it work on DVI, but i don't have any success. Here are the relevant lines from Natit: <key>ATI Radeon 2600 Series</key> <dict> <key>@0,EDID</key> <data> APUFS/7wCBgDEKAQEBAQEBAQEBAQEBMCoAmFEAKkAwcB MAeC0RAAAeAAAA/wBBMjQwMzQwMDAzOTEKAAAA/QAySx 5TDgAKICAgICAgAAAA/ABWWDkwMC0yCiAgICAgAM </data> <key>@0,compatible</key> <string>ATY,Hypoprion</string> <key>@0,device_type</key> <string>display</string> <key>@0,display-connect-flags</key> <integer>1024</integer> <key>@0,name</key> <string>ATY,Display-A</string> <key>@1,EDID</key> <data> APUFS/7wCBgDEKAQEBAQEBAQEBAQEBMCoAmFEAKkAwcB MAeC0RAAAeAAAA/wBBMjQwMzQwMDAzOTEKAAAA/QAySx 5TDgAKICAgICAgAAAA/ABWWDkwMC0yCiAgICAgAM </data> <key>@1,compatible</key> <string>ATY,Hypoprion</string> <key>@1,device_type</key> <string>display</string> <key>@1,display-connect-flags</key> <integer>1024</integer> <key>@1,name</key> <string>ATY,Display-B</string> <key>ATY,EFIVersion</key> <string>01.00.207</string> <key>ATY,EFIVersionBios</key> <string>113-B22501-X22B</string> <key>ATY,Rom#</key> <string>113-B2250F-207</string> <key>ATY,memsize</key> <integer>268435456</integer> <key>ATY_EFIEnabledMode</key> <integer>2</integer> <key>VRAM,totalsize</key> <string>268435456</string> <key>device_type</key> <string>ATY,HypoprionParent</string> <key>model</key> <string>ATI,RadeonHD2600</string> </dict> I've been told that the lines in bold letters are what needs to be edited. I've tried several values, like 4 and 64, but no succes. During boot, Natit sets those values correctly - in this case 0x400 Aug 29 20:25:48 localhost kernel[0]: Alkor: Setting VRAM,totalsize=268435456Aug 29 20:25:48 localhost kernel[0]: Alkor: Setting @0,EDID=<data not shown> Aug 29 20:25:48 localhost kernel[0]: Alkor: Setting @0,compatible=ATY,Hypoprion Aug 29 20:25:48 localhost kernel[0]: Alkor: Setting @1,device_type=display Aug 29 20:25:48 localhost kernel[0]: Alkor: Setting @1,compatible=ATY,Hypoprion Aug 29 20:25:48 localhost kernel[0]: Alkor: Setting @1,display-connect-flags=0x00000400 Can anybody point me in the right direction? How can i find the right values to get DVI working? Any hints greatly appreciated Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/61758-natit-infoplist-and-dvi/ Share on other sites
