marco brites Posted August 29, 2007 Share Posted August 29, 2007 I've a Laptop ASUS V2Je, Core Duo ATI Mobility Radeon X1450 (ID=7186) With JaS 10.40.8 I haven't QE/CI and my res is 1024x768... First i install, natit, change the ATIRadeonX1000 kext with my Id device, I've tried also with callisto, with older versions of ATIRadeonX1000 kext, with atiinject kext and i have always the same problem: kernel panic or black screen. With laptop display I can recognize my display and with mobility kext of Diabolik I can recognize my graphic card, but if I change ATIRadeonX1000 kext with my Id device, either with older versions of this kext I have the same problem. Dainix Posted October 11, 2007 Share Posted October 11, 2007 my os is 10.4.9, qe ci can work with ATIX1000 kext 10.4.9 of X1300， only 1024*768.OH.my God. You can't go above 1024x768. The Caretta driver does not have LVDS support, meaning it can't detect internal LCDs. So unless you use an external display frequently, you're stuck with using your LCD in VESA mode.
