And then after 8xxx cards will be supported, to switch to Asus EN8500GT SILENT/HTD, 256MB? Dr. Hurt Posted August 29, 2007 Share Posted August 29, 2007 No, I don't think the S3 will work. However, you can buy a cheap temporary NVidia like fx 5200. I got mine for about $10 from a local shop (open box of course), but you can get a new one for $20. It works well, CI/QE/GL. Or at least it will work in some basic resolution, please? I would like also to install OSx86 for basic software development at least to be able to develop something and to start to learn this OS. Do you think the nvidia 8xxx card is suitable for me???
