Live Type not working

Hello,

 

I got FCP2 up and running, everything works except for Live Type! When I open it, it only opens 1 pane (window) then freezes the whole computer. Not sure why because all of the other applications, including Compressor and Final Cut all open well.

 

Does anyone have any answers????

 

Many thanks to all the info on the posts, looking forward to getting down to work on some video.
