Disk speed

Hi!

I run a q6600 and a ga-p35-dq6

and have a few questions.

The computer is running JAS 10.4.8 right now

everything works (except audio, but won't need it, have external device)

but the disk speed is soooo low. got like 30 points in xbench.

 

Is this because of the p35 curciut?

Will there be a fix? can you solve the problem now?

 

Is the speed of other motherboards better, like the 965??

What can I do?

 

I work with audio and I'm really dependent of diskspeed rather than cpu-speed.
