alvin777
Hi. My Intel E4300 C2D is overclocked at 3.37Ghz which the BIOS displays as such. On Jas 10.4.8, it's also 3.37Ghz. But when I upgraded to Jas Combo 10.4.9, although the BIOS says it's 3.37Ghz, when it boots to OSX, in this upgrade it is only 1.8Ghz (the normal unoverclocked speed) and thus performs slower (I tested it with Cinebench 9.5 before and after). The weird thing is the temperature is the same when it was overclocked at 3.37Ghz. It's either still running at 3.37Ghz but OSX only wants to use 1.8 or it's got to do with Cinebench 9.5. Does anyone know a fix for this? Thanks in advance.
aqualeviathan
OSX is probably just reading the speed wrong and your processor is still at your OCed speed.

alvin777
Thanks for the reply. I edited it but I can't save to verwrite the com.Apple.Boot.plist coz' I think OSX is using it.
