kcire
i have installed hackintosh 10.4.6 (and updated to 10.4.7) in my compaq c300. Everything works "almost" perfect (ethernet, usb, sound, vga, battery) except modem and wireless. wireless = Broadcom 802.11b/g 14e4 4311 modem = HDAudio Soft Data Fax i've search this forum and found that the solution to make AirPort wireless works is edit the AppleAirPortBrcm4311.kext and add one line with the device/vendor id. But before i edit the kext, i have found 14e4 4311 in this kext, so i have no changes this kext. Also no information found in System Profiler > AirPort Card. anyone can help me what must i do to make my wireless works?? thanks
errandwolfe
Is your 4311 a mini-PCI or mini-PCI Express card? If it is mini-PCI Express card see the following two threads: Acer/Compaq/Etc.
