Trying to install uphuck 1.4a again, which went fine on my old motherboard.

On my new mobo, a PCChips M871G, the installer throws a kernel panic at me. Panic says something about "Unresolved kernel trap". There's also a message

before the panic that says "Local APCI version not 0x14 as expected". I'll include a shot of the whole screen for detail.

Specs:

PCChips M871G

AMD Athlon64 2800+

1GB RAM (unknown manufacturer)

Using on-board video

SiS 760GX/964 chipset

Also, if it makes any difference, I have the DRAM speed set to 333Mhz, down from 400Mhz. This is the only way I can get this particular RAM stick to work with the mobo. Would this cause problems with the install?

I get a similar (possibly the same, can't remember) panic with my Tubgirl 10.4.8 DVD, so this prob. probably isn't uphuck specific - I think both of these DVDs use the same kernel though (semthex 8.8.1?).

Thanks.
