Dee S. 73 Posted December 23, 2005 Share Posted December 23, 2005 (edited) I was browsing Apple website and found the changelog of 10.4.3-1111a and there's a really interesting thing noted toward the end : "Disables Quartz 2D Extreme—Quartz 2D Extreme is not a supported feature in Tiger, and re-enabling it may lead to video redraw issues or kernel panics." This probably means some part of the api changed as well..... Lets hope in a solution for this video card driver problem... Ouch Posted December 23, 2005 Share Posted December 23, 2005 Well quartz 2D extreme isn't enabled on PPC 10.4 either so i doubt its the cause. You can re-enabled it with the quartz tool in the dev ket.
